Pearl's Second Opinion is FDA-cleared dental imaging AI that analyzes radiographs in real time to flag caries, calculus, periapical radiolucencies, bone levels, and existing restorations. Pearl holds eight FDA 510(k) clearances for its Second Opinion family, from the original bitewing/periapical clearance (K210365, 2022) to caries contours (CC), caries segmentation (CS), pediatric caries, periapical radiolucency contours, bone level measurement (BLE), panoramic radiographs (2025), and CBCT anatomy segmentation (Second Opinion 3D).
